Color and Sound

I have always had a passion for music as well as art, so this year my sustained investigation explored how music can be represented visually. Until recently, my artwork has focused more on realism, but I wanted to challenge myself and explore more abstract art in order to represent sound and music. One of my greatest challenges in this project was trying to capture the essence of music, something which never stands still and cannot be captured in a photograph. This portfolio allowed me to explore the beautiful ways in which music and color can be combined.
